All Eyes on Riggins

Could you stop yourself from gazing at the magnificence of Riggins last night? I could not. Here is a classic example of what a great role model can do for a person. Riggins knew he was Team Captain, but when Coach hammered out his reponsabilities as a role model of the Team, you could see what this meant to Riggins. He seemed downright confused at the prospect of being a person who could make a difference.

I think up until this point he was 100% convinced that being Team Captain was just about playing good football. I absolutely loved watching the bourgeoning of Riggins and it's only the beginning - he hasn't made his little QB#1 a full fledged member of the pack yet.

It was so interesting how on one sense Coach is relying so heavily on Riggins and yet when finding out about Street going into the house flipping business, he seems concerned at the choice of business partners. This is one time when I hope Coach's gut is wrong.

What do you think?

Check out the Press links below to see what Buddy TV thought. Interesting!

The Next Big Thing

Let's suppose that Friday Night Lights does get picked up for another season and all our prayers are answered. This could leave Kyle free during hiatus for some new and exciting projects. That's one of the benefit of being a lifelong fan, everything that comes up is a new opportunity to show our support.

So, the question is, what genre would you choose? Check out our new pole and share you thoughts.

Myself, I'm leaning towards the Period Piece. (Costumes, people, costumes!!!)

Is "Cash" as money as he seems?

Here are some spoilers for tonight's episode, brought to you by the Newport Daily Press.

We knew Cash had to have a dark side, right? I mean, nothing ever comes easy for Tyra - well nothing she really wants anyway.

After remunerating on last week's episode, I find it completely unbelievable that a Coach would bench his Quarterback for half the game for the sake of a a 15 year old. I don't care how good he is, he has 2 more years to be the star. This was one turn in last week's show that I really struggled with. What do you think?

I guess we'll see what happens tonight.,0,1181034.story

Smash Signs Off

Gaius Charles "Smash Williams" blogged Friday's show for us. sniff

I thought he did an amazing job of riding that fine line between annoyingly arrogant and heartbreakingly vulnerable with such skill. He continually gave the kind of performance that makes you forget you're watching fiction.

Here are his thoughts:!

Kyle and Connie put FNL in perspective

Great article. It's refreshing to see actors enjoying what they do and liking each other.

Caring Enough to Scrutinize...

This guy The Televangelist has a great blog called "Fresh Loaf." I almost always enjoy his musings, and his latest take on FNL this season is no exception.

Have a look and see what you think of his ideas. I remember the McCoy's house being so large and in Dillon struck me as odd and convenient at the time too.

Photos From Superbowl Sunday

Not only did the Steelers win yesterday, but we also won!

Check out the new photos of Kyle at the NBC Superbowl Sunday event in Tampa FL - they have been added to our Gallery -Thanks Loriann!

If you find any more please pass the along to us on the Forum.

BTW I really did a double take and had to check to make sure these were new photos - looks like he's wearing the same shirt he had on at the NBC "An Evening with Friday Night Lights" event from last year. Although this blazer appears to be black, while the other one was navy.

I know what you're thinking. You can stop rolling your eyes now.
